Meet the Freedom Flock

The Freedom Flock is a collection of felted birds created to honor stories of resilience, dignity, and hope. The stories of immigrants currently detained by ICE who came to this country with the hope of a brighter future.

Each bird carries the spirit of those who have faced detention and displacement, transforming wool into symbols of courage and remembrance.

These handmade companions are more than ornaments—they are storytellers. With feathers shaped by empathy and colors chosen with care, the Freedom Flock reminds us that art can be both beautiful and purposeful.

They invite you to pause, reflect, and carry their message into your own home.

Every bird in the flock bears the name of one individual who is currently in detention and represents a bird from their country of origin.

Each Freedom Flock bird is priced with a built‑in donation to Indiana AID, with the base cost covering the time and care it takes to create them.
